Tips for a successfull cleanup
Safety First!Safety first! Think about the safety of your team! Do not clean up along busy roads. Keep an eye out for traffic. Striking clothing can help with your visibility.

Trash grabberWe advise everyone to clean up with gloves and – if possible – also with a grabber! In many cases you can obtain this from your municipality. Please contact the municipality of your place of residence in advance. |
Enough garbage bagsMake sure your team goes out with enough garbage bags. You can hand out bags, but people can also bring their own garbage bag. Simple, but communicate this with your team members beforehand! |
Share your cleanup!Share your cleanup on Facebook, Instagram, Whatsapp and Email and share the #NotInOurBackyard campaign. The more participants and awareness the greater the scope of World Cleanup Day and the greater the impact! |
Organzing your own cleanup? Are you organizing a cleanup campaign as a team? Make sure your team is informed if anything changes such as the collection time, the location or the duration of your cleanup. You can easily edit your profile page and let your network know. |
Start a conversation!Have a conversation with your friends, neighbors, colleagues and family. Anyone can sign up for your cleanup and fundraising campaign or start one themselves. Let's join forces for a better world! |
